Pictures for Donoussa is an initiative by a group of regular visitors who have come to love the island. Our mission is to raise funds to support the cultural and educational activities of the island's inhabitants, both children and adults. Our efforts to do this are done in close cooperation with the local community.
To begin with, we will be selling the photographer Lars Gustafsson's beautiful pictures from Donoussa, giving you a unique opportunity to take home a piece of the island's beauty.
The printed pictures, which are only available for purchase on Donoussa, are in the size 40x50 cm and professionally produced for high quality and durability. When you buy a picture, you will receive it in a sturdy cardboard cylinder so you can take it with you on the rest of your trip without any problems.
The pictures are available for purchase at Nautilus, a fantastic little shop located near the church in Stavros, that sells clothing, accessories, books and many other things. They are open daily from 10:30  to 13:30 and from 19:00 to 23:00. You can find them on Instagram as @nautilusdonoussa.
For a limited time during the project's start-up process, you will have the opportunity to acquire a print for only €50, or for as little as €40 each when you buy two.
Since this is a project that we have just started, we are right now only offering three different pictures for sale. More pictures will be available for purchase in the near future. And, unfortunately, during the start-up phase of our initiative, we can only accept cash payment for the pictures.
The pictures we offer are made by the Swedish photographer Lars Gustafsson, who has been a frequent visitor to Donoussa for over two decades. Lars is a professional photographer educated at Konstfack, a prestigious university college of arts crafts and design, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is internationally exhibited and published and he has generously granted us the right to sell prints of some of his stunning landscape pictures from Donoussa for the benefit of the island.
You can see more pictures by Lars on his website - www.infall.se

We would also like to thank the islanders who are helping us by providing space for us to display the photos. Thank you for allowing us to hang them in your rooms and studios, in shops, taverns, and bars. Thank you!
